TIMEPERIOD: Q3 LANGUAGE:English/Swedish EXAMINER PREREQUISITES Applicants must have completed the courses PÄN024and PÄN025 or MAM084, MAM083 and MTF307. COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that the students acquire knowledge of - good and bad points in problem solving - how to formulate problems that with constructivist way of thinking develop pupils' knowledge - a few common strategies in problem solving CONTENTS Mathematical and physical methods of solving. Empiricism and constructivism. Different procedures in solving mathematical and physical problems. Mathematical models. TEACHING Lectures, exercises and group work. EXAMINATION Written and oral examination, individually and in groups. COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass. ITEMS/CREDITS | |
