TIMEPERIOD: Q1, 3 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER PREREQUISITES Applicants must have completed the courses KSP046 and PÄP044. COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that students acquire knowledge of - the different aspects of physical education/movement activities according to Lpo-94 and Lpfö-98, and develop personal and methodological skills in the different aspects - outdoor activities in wintertime - a reflecting way of working that gives the students an opportunity, on basis of the study programme they attend, to develop their attitudes to physical education at school and in leisure time, as well as to movement activities at pre-school - how physical education and movements activities can be combined with other teaching subjects in all age groups - how physical activities can enhance the development of individuals and groups - different ways of carrying out health education CONTENTS The students will learn games, rhythm dances, different sports, movement and outdoor activities that are used at school, pre-school and in leisure time. The students will be required to pay their own costs of a winter camp in the mountainside, which is part of the winter training aspect of the course. Educational methods that are varied and create joy of movement are very much emphasised. The students are to learn to make a conscious choice of content and work procedures on basis of Lpo-94 and Lpfö-98, and the age, gender and individual capacity of the pupils. The course will discuss differences between physical education at school and the sports movement in society. TEACHING The teaching is primarily practical and concrete with elements of reflections, discussions and theoretical expositions. Some aspects will be treated in the form of lectures. Compulsory attendance. EXAMINATION Evaluation of assignments, written as well as practical, individually and in groups. COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass. ITEMS/CREDITS | |
