PREREQUISITES
General entrance requirements.

COURSE AIM
The aims of the course are that students gain knowledge of:
- drama as artistic and educational method
- methods for work with drama in a children's group
- theatre and puppet theatre for and with children
- the significance of imagination in creative work
- the role as a leader

CONTENTS
The course treats drama both from an artistic and an educational perspective. The emphasis is on work with drama for and with children.

TEACHING
The teaching is carried out in the form of lessons, group work and literature seminars. If there is an opportunity, there will be a study visit in connection with a theatre performance. Compulsory attendance applies to the whole course.

EXAMINATION
Individual evaluation of group assignments, course assignment and literature seminars. The course assignment is to plan, carry out and evaluate a dramatic performance for a defined target group.
COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass.
