TIMEPERIOD: Q 4 LANGUAGE: EXAMINER PREREQUISITES General entrance requirements. COURSE AIM In addition to the common aims of the programme as specified in the study programme syllabus, the aims of the course are that students acquire - knowledge of the evolution and ability to see themselves and other life forms from an evolution perspective - knowledge of the conditions and significance of biological diversity - didactic skills in using living material, plants and animals in a school garden, and nature as a tool for learning - ability to use camp schools as a stimulating environment for learning - ability to reflect on man's role in the development and continued existence of life CONTENTS Evolution. Species studies and classification. Spring species, e g birds. Spring in the school garden. Nature studies in spring. Methodology for camp schools. Astronomy, calendar, rotation, gravitation. TEACHING Lessons, laboratory work, excursions and practical work. Work placement as an integral part of the training may include a camp school. EXAMINATION Oral and written examination individually and in groups. COURSE GRADE SCALE: fail/pass ITEMS/CREDITS | |
