TIMEPERIOD: Q 3-4 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER PREREQUISITES Applicants must have completed the course Leisure Science A or equivalent. COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that the students acquire basic knowledge of the development and significance of leisure from the perspectives of behavioural and social science, nature and the liberal arts within the field of leisure science. CONTENTS Leisure science B 1, 10 credits Module 1: Man and leisure, 2 credits - youth cultures and youth identity from the perspective of behavioural science - leadership in leisure activities - project leadership, enterprise - operational development in the leisure sector, learning leaders in learning organizations - follow-up and evaluation Module 2: society and leisure, 2 credits - leisure activities from global perspective, globalisation - international conventions - migration and international networks - tourism and the leisure sector as regional development factors Module 3: Nature and leisure, 4 credits - man, nature and environment from a leisure perspective, environmental problems and ecology - outlooks on nature, nature ethics, making use of and working along with nature, the legal right of access to private land - the significance of outdoor life to health, healthcare and environmental consciousness - outdoor life and outdoor technique, leadership primarily outdoors - CPR, life-saving Module 4: culture and leisure, 2 credits - youth cultures from global perspective - traditional cultural experiences and the digital society
