TIMEPERIOD: Q 1 and 3 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER PREREQUISITES Applicants must have completed the course LUA101, Teaching and Learning in a Changing World 1. COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that the students - gain insight into and knowledge of individuals' and groups' different conditions of and possibilities for learning - deepen their knowledge and awareness of values and issues related to values - develop their awareness of the leadership that the teaching role involves - develop their communicative abilities - deepen their understanding of the possibilities of the aesthetical subjects CONTENTS Theories and styles of learning Leadership and group development Conversation as a tool Children and adolescents in need of remedial teaching Plans of measurement and action Prevention and management of conflicts Values - ethics and attitudes TEACHING EXAMINATION Oral and written, varied forms of examination. Documentation in the form of a portfolio and a "book of reflections". Individual and group assignments. COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass ITEMS/CREDITS | |
