TIMEPERIOD: Q III LANGUAGE: EXAMINER Esmail Salehi-Sangari Tf prof PREREQUISITES IEM010, IEM027 and IEM028 or equivalent. COURSE AIM The course will provide students with knowledge and understanding regarding the impact of electronic commerce technologies on business and marketplace transformation. CONTENTS On the technological side, high-level concepts and issues of electronic commerce will be highlighted. No technical background is required since the relevant technologies will be discussed from business and functional perspectives. Issues related to objectives, measures, business process re-engineering and the role of intermediaries will be illustrated. TEACHING Lectures, seminars and case studies.
