TIMEPERIOD: LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Roland Larsson Univ lekt PREREQUISITES Basic course in Machine Elements and solid Mechanics. COURSE AIM To obtain better understanding and knowledge about modern mechanical engineering systems. CONTENTS Lectures on machine component operation and function, e.g.bearings, gears, seals, cams and electric motors. Also lectures on measurement techniques and data acquisition. Project work on real systems both a practical project, incloding control of a mechanical-electric system and measurement on the system, and project including numerial computations for simulation of real systems. TEACHING Lectures and project work. EXAMINATION Rank 3: Project work, attendance at lectures, hand in exams. Rank 4: As rank 3 but with exellent project work. Rank 5: As rank 3 but also written exam with very good results. COURSE GRADE SCALE: U, 3 ,4, 5 ITEMS/CREDITS | |
