TIMEPERIOD: Q3 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Majbritt Persson Univ adj PREREQUISITES General entrance requirements. COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that students: - acquire basic knowledge of the functional handicaps autism and DAMP, and of the responsibility that the community has for these groups of people - acquire knowledge of approaches and working methods, and of how the handicaps effect the family CONTENTS Legislation: the Education Act, the Social Services Act. Policy and procedure guidelines/requirements for pre-school and school. Autism and DAMP. Approaches and working methods. To be the parent of a child in need of special support. TEACHING Lectures, literature seminars and an individual in-depth study of autism/DAMP. EXAMINATION Participation in literature seminars, evaluation of individual in-depth studies and of individual hand-in assignments. COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass. ITEMS/CREDITS | |
