TIMEPERIOD: Q1-Q4 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Lisbeth Lindström Univ adj PREREQUISITES Teacher training. COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that students: - plan, carry out and report a development project, either individually or in pairs/groups, on basis of the students' own work placement at a company and in collaboration with a group of school- children - learn how to document and evaluate a development project - gain understanding of how attitudes and values arise and are influenced by various factors - acquire knowledge of creativity as an important human ability - gain understanding of how the desire to be creative is encouraged. CONTENTS Projects as a working method. Enterprise at school. Pupil influence and participation. Playful learning ("school of inventors" etc). Gender and culture perspectives. Attitudes and values. Educational documentation. Self-confidence and creativity. TEACHING The course will be characterised by problem-orientated work procedures. Lectures, study visits, lessons, project work and work placement at a company. EXAMINATION Written and oral examination, individually and in groups. Presentation of a development project.
