TIMEPERIOD: LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Ulf Westerberg Univ lekt PREREQUISITES Mathematical Statistics according to any one of IEK001, IEK003, IEK005, IEK007, IEK010, IEK011 or IEK020 or corresponding course. COURSE AIM ¥ to illustrate how an active, systematic, and preventive work for quality improvements shall be carried on in companies, organisations, and in public administration; ¥ to provide knowledge of modern values, techniques, and methods in the continuous work for higher quality; ¥ to illustrate quality programmes in different organisations. CONTENTS The quality concept, quality strategies and the development of quality philosophy. Design quality, production quality, service quality, and leadership for quality are discussed.
