Solna Prof FASTSTÄLLD The syllabus has been approved by the Dept. of Human Work Sciences on 23 Sept, 1993 and will be effective from autumn term '95. FÖRKUNSKAPSKRAV General eligibility for admission to university courses and a good knowledge in English. MÅL The course shall give the basic knowledge on the effects of the thermal climate on man's comfort, performance and health. It shall teach the students the basic methods of measurement and assessment of the thermal environment and principles and measures of its improvement and control. INNEHÅLL Physics of heat exchange; Human temperature regulation; Indoor environments; Effects of thermal climate; Thermal Stress; Thermal comfort; Hot and cold environments: Climate indices; Environmental control and personal protection; Measurements, assessments and instrumentation.
