TIMEPERIOD: Q1, Q2 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Annika Strömqvist Univ adj PREREQUISITES General entrance requirements and course admission requirements for economic training programs oriented towards recreation science. COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that students: - gain basic knowledge of people's development in different ages from a psychological, economic, societal and social perspective - acquire knowledge of how the development of society effects people's need and possibilities for leisure pursuits - gain knowledge of different groups' needs for leisure pursuits CONTENTS - Theories about groups and group dynamics - Theories about the development of society from an economic perspective - Theories about the development of society from a recreational perspective - Cultural differences in the view on leisure time - Field studies - the leisure time and leisure pursuits of different groups TEACHING Lectures, lessons, seminars, group projects and field studies. EXAMINATION Written and oral examination, individually and in group. COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass. ITEMS/CREDITS | |
