COURSE AIM
The course should give basic understanding of common methods in analysis of nonlinear dynamic systems, give knowledge about the latest methods for synthesis of nonlinear controllers and give training in reading, understanding and presenting scientific articles.
Teaching:
The teaching consists of lectures and one required assignment. The assignment consists of reading and analysing a relevant scientific article.
CONTENTS
Dynamic systems, nonlinear system behavior, phase plane analysis.
Modelling, simulation. Fundaments of Lyapunov theory. Advanced stability theory. Describing function analysis. Nonlinear control systems design, feedback linearization.

EXAMINATION
A written exam with numbered grades and passed required assignment.
