Basic geology.
COURSE AIM
The students will provide the student with the geological tools for working with unconsolidated sediments and soils.
CONTENTS
Sedimentological processes. Sedimentary structures and textures. Sedimentary environments. Soils and their classification. The evolution of the geology in Scandinavia during the Quaternary. The links between, glaciation, sediments and geomorphology.
TEACHING
Lectures will be given in Swedish.
