COURSE AIM
ITEM 1, Social Subjects/Pedagogy
The aim of the course is:
-contribute to an increased understanding and respect of other cultures, values and way of living,
-give methodical proficiencies in theme and project work in the compulsory comprehensive school,
-give in-depth knowledge of the teaching process - from curriculum to evaluation, at which ananysis and critical examining of the school are of great importance,
-give in-depth knowledge about groups and group development,
-work out and develop the finish of the Degree Project.
ITEM 2, Swedish
The aim of the course is to:
-give a survey about the problems that can occure for those who learn Swedish as a second language,
-observe the characteristic of the Swedish from a psycholinguistical and contrasted perspective.
CONTENTS
ITEM 1, Social Subjects/Pedagogy
Theme work and the finish of the Degree Project dominate this term.
Theme work:"The Third World and the Man in the Multicultural Society".
Pedagogical planning and evaluation.
Different teaching methods in project works when working with pupils in the compulsory comprehensive school.
The methods of the items that are carried out by the students
ITEM 2, Swedish
General knowledge of immigration, psycholinguistics and sociolinguistics.
Phonetics, language structure and language use.
Fictions about immigrants.
TEACHING

The form of teaching is lectures, group works, lessons and educational visits.

Lec tures, lessons, seminare practices, group discussions.
EXAMINATION
