PREREQUISITES
MTM065 Mechanical Vibrations

COURSE AIM
The aim of the course is to - deepen earlier knowledge in mechanical vibrations and give the ability to apply this knowledge to practical problems - give the ability to derive equations of motion for mechanical systems with many degrees of freedom (for both rigid bodies and continuous systems) - give the ability to analyse systems with nonlinear characteristics - give the ability to analyse systems which are affected by random vibrations

CONTENTS
Methods to derive equations of motion (55 %) Analysis of nonlinear systems (45 %)

TEACHING
The course consists of lectures, excercises, computer excercises and one laboration. The ** in computer excercises and the laboration work is compulsory.
