COURSE AIM
The course gives experience of methods, mostly numerical, for calculations of technologically important flow phenomena.

CONTENTS
In the course are treated the numerical basis for a modern CFD-program (CFX), together with other methods for flow calculations. Application is done on technologically important areas such as : Separation and secondary flows, turbulence and turbulence modelling, compressible flow, density and thermal effects, multy-phase flows.

TEACHING
The teaching is done through project works. These are done as case-studies using eg a commercial CFD-program (CFX).

EXAMINATION
Written report on each project.
