COURSE AIM
Through art, drama, design, music, movement and handicrafts the students are to develop their own ability to communicate with different means of expressions so they can pass them on in their active careers.
The students should have knowledge about:
-the basics of art, drama, design, music, movement and handicrafts as means of expressions
-the child's development concerning the creative activities in pre-school
-safety regulations, tools, materials and techniques
The students are to work on and:
-develop a picture of themselves so they can give support to the children's development in their future careers
-increase their consciousness how their role can influence attitudes in pre-school
The students should be able to apply:
-different means of expressions such as creating sound, singing, painting, drawing, working with for example wood as a material
-an active participation in movement and drama work in pre-school.
CONTENTS
Art, drama, music, movement and handicrafts.
TEACHING
The course has a holistic approach specializing in communication between teachers.
EXAMINATION
The students will be graded on individual assignment reports in the practical parts of the course, as well as assignment reports.
