COURSE AIM
The aim of the course is to give knowledge of ideas and techniques of production planning and inventory control.

CONTENTS
Ideas and techniques of production planning and inventory control. Ideas which are presented are e.g. JIT (Just-In-Time) and OPT (Optimised Production Technology). Within inventory control forecasting and methods to decide order quantities and order points are presented. The course also gives an overview of computerised information and decision support systems.
