COURSE AIM
Is to improve the knowledge of statistical inference, regression analysis, forecasting as well as enhance the ability to apply these tools in economic analysis.

CONTENTS
The course starts with a review of basic statistics, simple and multiple regression analysis. With economic theory as basis model specification and results are analysed when the classical assumptions holds. In the latter part the consequences for model specification and results are analyzed when the classical assumptions are violated.
