COURSE AIM
The aim of the course is to provide the students with a deeper knowledge of: - the scope and patterns of international business and the global business environment - the international firm«s financial environment and multinational financial management

CONTENTS
PART I, International Business Environment, 5 points, covers the international economic, legal, political, cultural and technological environments which influence the operations of business firms; the national differences that affect the way business is conducted in various countries; and the multinational frameworks (including the European Union) which contribute to the globalization of business. PART II, International Business Finance, 5 points covers corporate finance from an international perspective; financial management of the international firm; the international financial system, foreign exchange markets, financial decisions by multinational firms and international banking.

TEACHING
Teaching will take form of lectures, seminars and group work.

EXAMINATION
Students will be graded on the basis of written examinations, research papers and active class participation.
