COURSE AIM
The course will provide the students the basic theory of occupational biomechanics, and a knowledge concerning the available biomechanical methodologies which the students can use in real industrial settings

CONTENTS
Basics in biomechanics; Importance of occupational biomechanics in ergonomics; Body force and strength; Work posture; Lifting and carrying; Biomechanical modelling; EMG technique; Methods in occupational biomechanics.

TEACHING
The course will have both theoretical work consisting of lectures and practical work consisting of compulsory laboratory experiments.

EXAMINATION
Written tests, essay writing and lab. reports.
