COURSE AIM
The course will provide the students the basic knowledge of body sizes, their variability, measurement methods and ergonomic application of anthropometric data.

CONTENTS
Races of man and historical background; Body sizes; Body size variability; Static and dynamic anthropometry; Anthropometric surveys; pplication of anthropometry in design; Seating; Methods of measurement and instrumentation.

TEACHING
The course will have both theoretical qwork consisting of lectures and practical work consisting of compulsory laboratory experiments

EXAMINATION
Written tests, essay writing, laboratory reports and miniproject.
