TIMEPERIOD: Q2 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER PREREQUISITES COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that the students acquire elementary knowledge of teaching at compulsory school in social science, for instance by - acquiring basic knowledge of the different fields of social science - develop ability to use knowledge and methods from the different social fields and to analyse and discuss social and political issues - acquire knowledge of didactic issues relevant to compulsory school - develop ability to plan and work our a place inventory for studies of the local community CONTENTS The emergence of the political ideas Democracy Municipalities and county councils The Swedish constitution Public and private administration Political ideologies and interest groups TEACHING Lessons, lectures, seminars, group work and field studies.
