General eligibility for admission at higher education.

SYFTE/MÅL
The course aims to enable students learning in interkulturell comprehension based on a multicultural perspektive.

INNEHÅLL
ITEM 1 consists of local community studies from a historical perspective. This section deals with the clash of cultures when immigrant cultures encounter the local culture.
ITEM 2 deals with the concept of culture clash in an international perspective.
ITEM 3 seeks to intergrate the above items.

UNDERVISNING
Emphasis will be given to updating general questions in the immediate environment. The course aims to give support and structure to the students' acquired knowledge, as well as opportunities for proficiency training, which in turn requires the active participation from the students' side throughout the course.

EXAMINATION
Assessment will be both written and oral. The form of assessment can vary from individual written examinations to collective tests and essays.
