TIMEPERIOD: Q1, Q2 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER PREREQUISITES General entrance requirements and course admission requirements for economic training programs oriented towards recreation science. COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that students: - gain basic knowledge of people's development in different ages from a psychological, economic, societal and social perspective - acquire knowledge of how the development of society effects people's need and possibilities for leisure pursuits - gain knowledge of different groups' needs for leisure pursuits CONTENTS - Theories about groups and group dynamics - Theories about the development of society from an economic perspective - Theories about the development of society from a recreational perspective - Cultural differences in the view on leisure time - Field studies - the leisure time and leisure pursuits of different groups TEACHING Lectures, lessons, seminars, group projects and field studies. EXAMINATION Written and oral examination, individually and in group. COURSE GRADE SCALE: Fail, Pass. ITEMS/CREDITS | |
