TIMEPERIOD: Q2 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER PREREQUISITES General entrance requirements. COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that students gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of physical concepts and theories in mechanics, wave theory, electricity and astronomy. The knowledge is to be as deep and broad as to prepare the student to explain phenomena in a correct way adapted to compulsory school level. The student is also to gain understanding and insight into the effects of scientific discoveries on people's way of viewing the world. CONTENTS Mechanics - statistics - dynamics Wave theory Electricity Astronomy TEACHING The different aspects of the course will be treated in lectures and followed by exercises, discussions and laboratory work.
