TIMEPERIOD: Q 1, Q 3 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER PREREQUISITES General entrance requirements. COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that students acquire increased insight into art and music as creative and communicative subjects knowledge of the role of art and music in different contexts and cultures knowledge of the social function and didactics of the art and music subjects CONTENTS - improvisation, creativity and integration knowledge of musical instruments pictorial presentation in different materials and techniques the significance and possibilities of art and music at pre-school, school and in the day-care for school-age children Swedish folk music and music from different cultures Art as language and expression of culture Leadership practice and methodology TEACHING Laboratory work procedures, individually and in groups. Projects, seminars, field trips and field studies. EXAMINATION Evaluation of laboratory work. Presentation of self-instructed assignments, course assignments and required reading.
