TIMEPERIOD: Q3 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER PREREQUISITES Applicants must have completed the course PÄL008 (KSP052). COURSE AIM The aims of the course are: - to prepare the students to take responsibility for music activities at school, pre- school and day-centres for school-age children - to deepen the students experiences and understanding of music CONTENTS - singing and playing - arrangement and playing in an ensemble - orientation in the history of music - history of POP and rock - the sociology and psychology of music - methodology and exercises in leadership - thematic project with a creative orientation - project with possibilities to in-depth studies in student's own choice of field - computers in teaching TEACHING - lessons - lectures - field studies - literature seminars EXAMINATION Individual examination and evaluation of students during the laboratory aspects of the course.
