TIMEPERIOD: Q 4 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER PREREQUISITES General entrance requirements. COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that students develop knowledge of - creative teaching methods in school, pre-school and day-care for school-age children - how an aesthetic approach can study and illuminate a changing world - how aesthetic forms of expression are used in the different fields of activity of society CONTENTS The course focuses on knowledge that illuminates and reinforces the significance of the senses in learning. It studies the aesthetic development and learning of man. It explores the rolls and significance of the cultural institutions and organisations in society and school, and the interplay between different cultural figures and the school. It also presents current research in the field of knowledge. TEACHING Work placement as and integral part of the training (4 credits), field studies, literature seminars, lectures, practical work, group work, individual work, hand-in assignments, integration.
