TIMEPERIOD: Q 3 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER PREREQUISITES General entrance requirements. COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that students develop - knowledge of their own creative and communicative competence - awareness of how they as individuals have been formed and constantly are formed by their cultural context - ability to reflect on their own learning and cultural and aesthetic values CONTENTS The course focuses on different aesthetic forms of expression such as art, drama, music, movement and handicrafts. It explores how our senses and abilities can reinforce the individual's experiences and development. It studies cultural factors and values that influence the individual. It focuses on the student's own learning and the musical development process. Finally, it explores creative play as the base of active learning. TEACHING The course uses creative teaching methods, analyses and discussions based on the students' own experiences and on scientific theories. Students are to actively participate.
