PREREQUISITES
IES633 Social Studies A and IES634 Social Studies B or equivalent.

COURSE AIM
The aims of the course are that students acquire the knowledge required for teaching social studies at comprehensive school, wich includes:
- knowledge of economic theory,
- ability to knowledge and methods of economics points and tendences of development,
- have deeper knowledge about the political system, national as well as inernational,
- be able to independent write and defence a scientific thesis.

Item 1
Resources and theories of resources in a local and global
perspective, 5p.
Economical systems
Global economical questions
The state and the community as actors on the economic scene
Economical questions in an european perspective

Item 2
The political system in a national and international perspective,
5p.
International relations
Foreign political systems
Regions and politics in a european regional perspective

Item 3
Thesis, 10p.
Writing a scientific thesis in political sciences or economics.


TEACHING
The teaching will consist of lessons, group practice, field studies and seminars.
