COURSE AIM
- To get a general picture of the history of Europe and its importance for the rest of the world
- To obtain a knowledge of the struggle for integration and disintegration in Europe to-day
- To get an understanding of differences between countries and regions in Europe to-day


CONTENTS
Item 1
The history of Europe until 1990.The main point lies on tendencies to integration and disintegration and certain political and economic evolution pictures.

Item 2
The creation of EU and other European institutions.
The EU:s organization structure and decision making apparatus.
The history of Eastern Europe after the fall of Communism.
A comparison between some European countries.
