COURSE AIM
- Though studies of interesting technical phenomena from different historical periods create an understanding of how technical, economical, social and political changes work together.
- By studying certain technical development arouse an interest in earlier times technic and also inspire further studies in the subject.



CONTENTS
- Introduction and method.
- Technical development during ancient and antique times.
- Technical development during medival times.
- Technical development from the sixteenth century.
- Technical development outside of the european areas.
