TIMEPERIOD: Q1, Q3 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Bo Jonsson Univ adj PREREQUISITES General eligibility and mathematics from a three year high school education or equivalent. COURSE AIM The course aims to enhance the understanding of and the ability to develop mathematical models with economic applications, and in addition to deepen the understanding of economic theory. CONTENTS The course studies mathematical models used in economics. Matrices and matrix algebra, linear modelling, optimization and linear programming as well as other mathematical tools are used to describe and analyze different problems in economics.
