PREREQUISITES
IEM335, IEM343 and IEM344 or equivalent.

COURSE AIM
The course will provide students with knowledge and understanding regarding the impact of electronic commerce technologies on business and marketplace transformation.

CONTENTS
On the technological side, high-level concepts and issues of electronic commerce will be highlighted. No technical background is required since the relevant technologies will be discussed from business and functional perspectives. Issues related to objectives, measures, business process re-engineering and the role of intermediaries will be illustrated.

TEACHING
Lectures, seminars and case studies.

EXAMINATION
Written exams and individual assignments.
COURSE GRADE SCALE: U, G, VG

ITEMS/CREDITS
Compulsory tests and assignments 7.50ECTS

COURSE LITERATURE
Is available on the homepage of the division 3 weeks before course starts.

REMARKS
Students who do not personally register for the course or contacts the examiner or teacher for the course during the first two sessions will lose their reservation for the course.
