TIMEPERIOD: Q4 LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Kerstin Vännman Bitr prof PREREQUISITES Quality Engineering, IEK004, and Mathematical Statistics, IEK020, IEK001, IEK003 or corresponding course. COURSE AIM ¥ To give the student an ability to use quality engineering methods to identify and formulate problems that can be solved using design of experiments; ¥ to give the student knowledge about concepts within design of experiments; ¥ to give the student an ability to apply statistical methods within design of experiments; ¥ to give the student an ability to apply design of experiments in practice in the improvement work in a company CONTENTS The course deals with tools suitable to systemize the planning of experiments and strategies for implementing design of experiments at companies. Furthermore is factorial and fractional factorial designs at two levels as well as other designs, e.g., split-plot designs dealt with.
