A1, Introduction to Computer and Systems Sciences (IED300)

COURSE AIM
The aim of the course is to give the student fundamental knowledge for construction of information system, methodologies for design and programming administrative information systems.

CONTENTS
Methodologies for development of administrative informations systems.
Traditional systems development. Systems analysis and definition of requirements.
Modelling. Programming (language C).
Documentation. Testing and implementation.

TEACHING
The work of the student is problem based and surveying. Normally teaching take the form of lessons, lectures, seminars, project works and laboratory works.

EXAMINATION
Examination will be in the form of required assignments.
