TIMEPERIOD: Q III LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER S Samuelsson Univ adj PREREQUISITES Administrative Data Processing Systems A or equivalent. COURSE AIM The aim of the course is to give the student deeper knowledge in the areas of data- technics and communication, knowledge in fields of service, function and motive for implementing of - Electronic mail - ODA Opend Document Architecture - EDI Electronic Data Interchange - MAP Manufacturing Automation Protocol - TOP Technical and Office Protocols - CIM Computer Intergrated Manufacturing CONTENTS The course deals with different aspects in different areas of information technology, namely information exchange within data network. The course deals with methodologies, technics, different standards, data- and telecommunication networks, and the need of application support for datacommunication in and between systems. TEACHING The work of the student is problem based and surveying. Normally teaching take the form of lessons, lectures, seminars, project works and laboratory works.
