TIMEPERIOD: LANGUAGE:English EXAMINER Åke Wisten Univ adj PREREQUISITES MTF056, MTF084 or equal. COURSE AIM The student will get a good understanding of radio techniques and antennas. CONTENTS Radio frequency bands; radio propagation in the various bands; HF propagation and applications; UHF and microwave propagation in urban areas and indoors; microwave line of sight propagation; fundamental antenna parameters; antenna types for particular applications; antenna arrays; electronically switched arrays; adaptive antenna rays.
