CONTENTS Atmospheric composition and structure Radiation, temperature and stability Water and clouds Air-masses, fronts and depressions Earth's rotation and the global circulation Gravity waves, planetary waves and tides Thunderstorms and the global electric circuit Ozone depletion and other atmospheric pollution effects Climate change - natural and anthropogenic factors The atmospheres of other planets TEACHING Lectures, exercises and project work.
