PREREQUISITES
MTM065 or simular basic course in machine dynamics.

COURSE AIM
The student
-should master the basic principles of structural dynamics and rotor dynamics.
-should be able to create multi degree of freedom models (MDOF) from real world engineering problems.
-should be able to create own simulation programs and be able to use mathematical routines in programs such as Matlab in order to simulate MDOF problems.
-should have some knowledge about how to rotor and non linear dynamics.

CONTENTS
Deeper insight in the use of Lagrange equations for dynamical problems.Solution of problems in structural dynamics with modal analysis. Model creation and numerical solution of MDOF problems. Introduction to rotor and non-linear dynamics.

TEACHING

EXAMINATION
Presentation of solved problems for the examiner results in the grade passed (3).
For higher grades the student can write a written exam given once a year (U,3,4.5)
Passed all computer exercises and laborations.
