PREREQUISITES
Possess a bachelor's degree in science or 120 university points in the field of science or equivalent and have a good knowledge in English

COURSE AIM
To provide an understanding of the risk associated with use of chemicals at work and the methods available to reduce them.

CONTENTS
Health hazards due to chemical exposure, basic principles of prevention, chemical emergency procedures, management of a chemical control program.

TEACHING
Lectures, group work and assignment.

EXAMINATION
Group report and individual assignment.
