TIMEPERIOD: Q1 LANGUAGE:English/Swedish EXAMINER Crister Björk Univ adj PREREQUISITES Applicants must have completed the courses PÄP044, PÄS025, KSP049, PÄN001 and PÄP046. COURSE AIM The aims of the course are that students: - acquire in-dept knowledge of nature and outdoor life - acquire knowledge of methods for camp school activities and learn how to encourage a lasting interest in nature and outdoor life - develop skills in planning and implementing a camp school for school children CONTENTS In-depth field studies on ecological connections in the local environment of the places where the camp schools are held. Didactic and methodical aspects of nature studies. Implementation of a camp school during the third week of the course. Degree project during the last two weeks of the course. TEACHING The teaching will mainly be problem-based, which means that exercises and assignments are done in groups. Lessons, laboratory work and exercises. Camp school for school children.
