TIMEPERIOD: Q1 and Q3 LANGUAGE:English/Swedish EXAMINER Stefan Hellmer Univ lekt PREREQUISITES IEN 326, IEN 327, IEN 328 and one of IEN 329 or IEN 331or IEN336 or corresponding. COURSE AIM To provide advanced understanding of resource allocation within society. CONTENTS Consumer and producer theory are treated rigorously. A two-sector general equlibrium model is used to give an in-depth understanding of the workings of trade and taxes. The course also takes a close look at different value judgements which by necessity follow eco-political decisions.
