TIMEPERIOD: LANGUAGE:English/Swedish EXAMINER T Gunnarsson Univ lekt PREREQUISITES COURSE AIM The aim of this course is to give a working knowledge of central concepts and methods in differential geometry, as well as applications of these in science and tehnology. CONTENTS Geometrical methods in physics, for example: manifolds, vector fields, differential forms, integrals, connections, curvature, local and global invariants, symplectic structures, gemetrical aspects and applications of Hamiltonian mechanics and other physical theories.
