SMR018 Automatic Control, Project Course 18.0 ECTS credits | |

TIMEPERIOD: Quarter III-IV LANGUAGE:English/Swedish EXAMINER Thomas Gustafsson Univ lekt PREREQUISITES Passed examination in the following courses (or equivalent): SMR017 Automatic Control, SMR011 Computer-Controlled System. Participated in SMR012 Identification or SMR038 Multivariable Control Systems. COURSE AIM The course should develope the ability to formulate and solve problems in control theory of one´s own and in a group. The course also give a deeper understanding of basic principles and a broader view of control theory. CONTENTS Except the project, an information search course BIB004 and a study trip is included. TEACHING The examiner defines a project goal. The students then plans the work, formulates and solves problems to achive the goal and finally writes a report to document the result. EXAMINATION The project is documented weekly in written and oral reports. A final report is prepared and presented at the end of the course. COURSE GRADE SCALE: U, G ITEMS/CREDITS | |
