TIMEPERIOD: Quarter III-IV LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Torkel Franzén Univ lekt PREREQUISITES General eligibility for university studies. COURSE AIM The aim of the course is to - give competence in writing good programs in a modern object oriented language - give an introduction to data abstraction - give knowledge of some useful data types and ways of implementing these data types in an imperative language - give experience in design and implementation of a programming projekt. CONTENTS Elements of programming Ð expressions and declarations, functions and procedures. Concrete and abstract data types. Specification. Some generally useful types such as queues, sets and dictionaries and methods for implementing these types. Project: Design and coding of a rather large program.
