TIMEPERIOD: Quarter III LANGUAGE:Swedish EXAMINER Håkan Jonsson 1 fo ing PREREQUISITES General eligibility for university studies. COURSE AIM The aim of the course is to - give competence in implementing algorithms and data types in a functional language. - give an introduction to a modern operating system and to computer science fundamentals. CONTENTS Programming: Expressions and declarations. Types and type constructors. Type deduction. Pattern matching. Recursion. Higher order functions. User defined types. Simple examples taken from the area of discrete mathematics, such as sets and propositional logic.
